1930s Blue Velvet Evening Gown1930s blue velvet bias cut gown. I have shown it two ways in the photos. I believe the intended way to wear this would've been with the opening at the back, but as you can see on the form, it fits fine either way. Bodice has a high ruffled collar that closes with a single button and loop. The back (or front) has a keyhole opening and there is underbust midback seaming on both sides, no waist seam. There is no closure, the gown slips on over the head.
